I produced and edited my Preliminary Task with a friend in my media class. Before filming our Preliminary Task we decided to create a story board to help us when filming the task. This was useful although because we had not planned out a particularly room to film in therefore the story board did not fit the area we filmed in.
In my Preliminary Task i was pleased with my match on action when i was filmed in three separate shots walking down a corridor and opening a door. We were careful when filming that it was possible to edit the shots so they flowed with one another. The match on action was sufficiently completed due to careful editing making sure that one shot ended and the next shot started when the person filmed was in the same position. This helped the viewer to believe that what they were watching was not planned but real life.
The lack of planning of location caused some problems when filming. The main problem was that we could not find a set to film our preliminary task in. In the end we had to use a corridor leading to a staircase which was not initially our plan.
Overall i think that the task went well although next time i do something similar i will plan a location previously to filming.
